The SELGYC (Spanish Society of General & Comparative Literature) will hold its XVIIth Conference at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain) in September 18-20, 2008. The conference is dedicated to the late Claudio Guillén (1924-2007) and is organized into three panels: 1) Claudio Guillén and the Spanish tradition of comparative literature, 2) rewriting and translation: comparative perspectives, and 3) literature and foundation myths.
