Welcome to the new website of the Réseau Europén d'Études Littéraires Comparées / European Network for Comparative Literary Studies.
This website aims to be a useful tool for comparatists in Europe and beyond: please add your details and CVs, information on your institutions, courses, research projects, new jobs, conference or book announcements, calls for papers... anything relevant to comparative literature! The site has a fully searchable database, and the more information is logged on, the more useful it will be. The Forum page allows us to have discussions on particular topics too.
This "business" page will contain all official announcements about REELC/ENCLS matters; soon, for example, information about our forthcoming General Meeting will be posted here (it will take place during the II International REELC/ENCLS Conference at Clermont Ferrand, 6-8 September 2007; details about the conference can be found in the "events and announcements" page).
As this page is for official announcements only, everyone can read it, but only the General Coordinator and the Webmaster can (at present at least) post new information here. Other debates and information can however be posted on the other relevant pages.
Oh, and if you are wondering: membership of the REELC/ENCLS is free, all you need to do is register!
