The Lithuanian Comparative Literature Association was founded on 13 January, 2005. It joins together specialists of world literature, scholars, researchers working in the field of Comparative Literature. At the present moment it includes 37 members from different Lithuanian higher education institutions (Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai, Klaipėda).
The Chairperson of the College is Prof. dr. Nijolė Leonora Kašelionienė, Professor of the Department of Lithuanian and Comparative Literature, Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
