Graduated in 1985, in Comparative Literature and Italian Language and Literature, at the Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philology - Skopje.

Post graduate studies accomplished in 1992, at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Belgrade,Yugoslavia, with MA theses on “Italo Calvino and the Fairy Tale”.

Ph.D. theses – “Reception of Italian Literature in Macedonia”, discussed on June 2000, at the Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philology – Skopje.

In the period 1987-2001 works as a researcher in the Institute of Macedonian Literature at the University of Skopje.

Since February 2002, works as an Associate professor of Italian Literature at the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, at the Blaze Koneski Faculty of Philology – Skopje.

President of the Macedonian Association of Comparative Literature (2001-2005)

President of the Dante Alighieri Institute in Skopje (since 2008).

Has attended different courses of Italian Language and Culture in Italy, has accomplished study and research mobility stays in different Universities and has participated on many seminars and symposiums on Comparative and Italian Literature in Macedonia and abroad.
 

Writes and publishes essays, articles and translations in Macedonian and Italian reviews and periodicals. Author of more then 100 publications.

Comparative Literature, Italian Literature, Intercultural Relations, Translation Studies

Has participated in many different projects regarding Comparative Literature.

Coordinator of the international Tempus Project “New Curriculum Model for Italian Studies”, JEP 18101-2003, with four partner Universities: Ss Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje (Macedonia), University of Bari (Italy), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and University of Eichstaett (Germany).
