I am a professor of German as a foreing language in the actual grades of Translation and Interpreting, Modern Foreign Languages and Communication, English Studies and Hispanic studies.

I got my PhD in German Studies  back in the year 2003 at the Universidad Complutense, Madrid. The dissertation was on the Swiss writer Max Frisch, and it was awarded with a special prize for research.

My main field of study is intercultural literature, and the focus of my research is based on non-german speaking authors who have chosen German as a language of creation for their literary work.

Research areas: 

My main field of study is intercultural literature. My research is focused on non-german speaking writers whoy have chosen German as a language of creation for their literary work. The corpus of my research includes exile authors and also authors who have migrated to a different country for other reasons such as economic reasons or the wish to get a better future and to start a new life anywhere else.
